Partnership to Battle the Opioid Epidemic in Our State

We had a great time at the Indiana Sheriff School last week. We were able to meet and mingle with the majority of our new and veteran sheriffs. Lisa also got the opportunity to meet Lieutenant Governor, Suzanne Crouch. Hopefully these two women can form a partnership and battle the opioid epidemic in our state.

HEA 1269 Legislation

HEA 1269 is newly enacted legislation that, among other things, requires Sheriffs to apply for Medicaid coverage on behalf of inmates that have been housed in their facilities for more than 30 days.
